PREPARATION & AFTER CARE
Wax/shave prior to appointment
Wax or shave at least 24hours before your spray tan. To shave or wax after your sunless tan will make your tan look patchy.
Exfoliate
Exfoliate your skin at least 8 hours before your spray tan. This will remove any dead skin and ensure your tan is applied evenly. Focus on elbows and knees as they are the spots most likely to be darker than the rest of the body
No lotion or makeup
For best results, ensure your skin is free from makeup and/or lotion. As this acts as a barrier between your skin and the tanning solution causing a less effective tanning.
What to wear
We recommend loose clothing that does not rub against your skin and risk rubbing on your tan.
Preferably dark clothing so any tan marks are not seen.
Showering
Your first shower should be between 1-3hours, 60 second rinse off in warm water (no soaps). Pat your self dry and let the tan develop for an additional 8-12 hours. (do not apply moisturiser in this time also)
Moisturise
Finally it’s time to embrace your EZIK Sunkissed glow. Moisturise as much as you like, the more hydrated your skin is the longer your tan will last!
